“空层——王小松个展”于2009年7月11日至7月23日在上海多伦现代美术馆举办，本次展览将向上海市民呈现旅德艺术家王小松的最新力作20余件，作品涵盖艺术家的架上绘画、装置和video等多个领域，抽象的艺术作品与批判现实似乎是风马牛不相及的，在王小松的作品当中却被非常完美的组合在了一起。有谁曾经设想过用抽象的方法来批判现实？因为这种设想本身就是矛盾而不可能的，可是他却很容易的就做到了。王小松这样同时具有浪漫主义和批判现实主义特质的人，从他的最新作品中充分反应出了什么是画如其人，这种驾御两极的能力，这种断然制造的矛盾情感的作品让人产生出的幻觉不得不让人沉思，让人不难看出他的激化矛盾克服极端浪漫的才华，同时，他还具有自由而超跃的精神。本次展览由著名策展人范迪安担任学术主持，黄笃、朱青生、岛子、刘巨德、王林担任展览组委会学术委员，开幕式当天，著名批评家岛子、吴鸿、王林、管郁达、黄河清等将和艺术家王小松一起，和艺术爱好者面对面地进行交流和学术研讨活动。

“Empty Layer – Wang Xiao Song Exhibition” will be hold in Shanghai Duolun Museum of Modern Art from July 11 to July 23, 2009. This exhibition will be showed the public Shanghai about the artist who traveled in Germany, Wang Xiao Song’s latest works more than 20 pieces which contain oil paintings, installation art and videos and other filed.
Abstract works of art and reality criticism seem to be totally not related, but in which Wang Xiao Song’s works, it’s combined very perfect. Who have ever thought using the way of abstract to criticize the reality? This idea in itself is repugnant and impossible, but he did it easily. Wang Xiao Song is the one who has romanticism and reality criticism in the same time, from his latest works fully reflect to the painting as people. People have to think about Wang’s ability to control the polarization and created the repugnant emotion’s works, it makes people produce the illusion. He also has the sprit of beyond freedom.
This exhibition is presented by the well-known curator Fan Di An as the academic chair, and Zhu Qing Sheng, Huang Du, Dau Zi and Lui Ju De as the academic member of the committee. In the opening, there’re the well-known art critics Huang He Qing, Huang Du, Wang Lin and artist Wang Xiao Song, they will communicate face-to-face with art lovers and carry out the academic seminar.
