Displaced
作为一个行者，会发现自己永远找不到归属感。像谋生的手段，栖息的处所，身处的异国他乡，都是，也都仅仅只是暂时的。
的确，体验一种新的文化，探索一个新的国家，总是能让人兴奋，雀跃。只是，溶入那片土地的想法往往显得遥不可及。
在中国，我体会到了这种最强烈的离群及无所适从感。语言上完全不能读、写、交流的障碍，及突然而至的孤独，成为了最大的挑战。面对和解决这些问题，同时给予我成长、变化和新的领悟。在极力适应这种文化、语言和强烈错置感的过程中，这些作品挖掘出，也释放出了我内心的情感及旅行的感悟。

Displaced
Being a traveller, one realizes that one never really belongs. Your livelihood – work, accommodation, country - is but only temporary. Although exploring a new country and new cultures are truly exciting and interesting, one will never be part of that culture. Of all my travels, I felt most out of place and not part of a community in China – the experience of sudden illiteracy (not being able to read, write or understand the language) and loneliness was one of the biggest challenges to face. Facing an amalgamation of different challenges and dealing with them in turn gave way to personal growth, change and different perspectives. My art therefore explores and expresses my inner feelings and emotions of my travels. It deals with my struggles to adapt to illiteracy, culture and the heightened experience of being displaced.
