城市性格:2013昆明国际创意壁画大奖赛征集函


一、大赛概述

每个城市都有自己特定的味道,每个城市都有不同的性格。昆明的性格和特征究竟是什么?!

2013昆明国际创意壁画大奖赛,以城市性格为主题,围绕“昆明”为核心。昆明是一座有着悠久历史的文化名城,有着丰富的历史文化资源;昆明四季如春,绿色满园;昆明是高原明珠,是一个多民族聚居的城市。

参赛者可以从以下几个方面切入构思创作作品:一、城市的自然环境,植被景观;二、人文景观,传统民风民俗;三、现代都市的现代生活;四、艺术创意的开拓创新。

我们期待您的精彩之作摘取大奖的桂冠!


二、大赛时间

征集时间20131029日—125

初选:201212712月9

驻地创作时间20131211日—1219

评奖及颁奖时间:2013 1221日(星期六)


三、作品初选、创作、颁奖典礼与相关活动

1.初选选出4060件入选作品。评选结束后,组委会将通过电话通知的方式与入选作者取得联系,洽谈邀请作者前来创作作品相关事宜(外地入选艺术家提供路费、食宿安排)。

2.参赛者的上墙作品应与组委会通知的入选作品一致。

3. 入选作品作者须在组委会规定时间内前来创作。

4. 创作地点:金鼎科技园18号平台昆明广告文化产业园

.创作材料和相关布置:作品上墙所需要绘画材料由主办方提供,具体实施墙面由主办方指定(如对创作环境等有所要求,请在提供方案的同时附上文字与图片等的说明)。

6. 闭幕式及颁奖典礼

1)执委会负责组织举办颁奖典礼。

2)时间:2013 1221日(周六)当天评出获奖作品晚上颁奖(具体时间以实际安排为准)。

3)地点:金鼎科技园18号平台昆明广告文化产业园

四、奖项设置

最佳创意奖1名,奖金15000元;最佳环境奖1名、最佳文化奖1名、人气奖1名、最佳视觉奖1名,奖金各10000元;优秀奖5名,奖金各4000元,同时颁发奖杯。入围作品颁发证书。

六、作品提交方法与要求

1对象:创意人士、艺术家、高校学生不限年龄、国籍、职业

2.报名方法:按照附件报名表填写个人简历信息,连参赛作品小稿(必须是手绘作品,标注清楚名称、创作理念,小稿尺寸和上墙尺寸)作品方案至报名邮箱:kmcb2013@163.com

3.不在有效报名期内报名视为无效报名,不予参评。报名填表时,须认真填写每项个人信息。所填信息须真实、有效。若经核实发现与真实不符,即取消报名资格。

七、评选

本次大赛邀请全国著名艺术家、策划人、设计师担任评委,最终以评选委员评审通过入围参展,并评出获奖作品。

、评选原则:

符合大赛主题要求,作品具有创意、创新性、实用性及可开发性;具有较好的视觉表现力。


九、版权声明

依据国家有关法律法规,凡主动提交作品的“参赛者”,主办方认为其已经对所提交的作品版权归属作如下不可撤销声明:

1、原创声明:参赛作品是参赛者原创作品,未侵犯任何他人的任何专利、著作权及其它知识产权;

该作品未在报刊、杂志、网站及其它媒体公开发表,未申请专利或进行版权登记的作品,未参加过其它比赛,未以任何形式进入商业渠道。

获奖“参赛者”保证参赛作品终身不以同一作品形式参加其它的创意比赛或转让给他方,在他方再次创作。否则,主办单位将取消其参赛、入围与获奖资格,收回奖金、奖品及并保留追究法律责任的权利。

2、参赛作品知识产权归属所有获奖作品除作者署名权以外的全部著作权归大赛主办方所有,即昆明广告文化产业园所有,包括但不限于以下方式行使著作权:享有对所属大赛作品方案进行再创作、生产、销售、展示、出版和宣传等权利。大赛主办方对所有获奖作品拥有展示和宣传等权利。其它任何单位和个人(包括作者本人)未经授权不得以任何形式对作品转让、复制、转载、传播、摘编、出版、发行、许可使用等。

3、参赛者提交作品之前,已仔细阅读上述条款,充分理解并表示同意,本次大赛的评委会拥有对所有获奖作品的最终裁定权。

十二、其它

1、活动结束出版《2013昆明国际创意壁画大奖赛作品集》,收录整个活动的精彩瞬间和刊载获奖、入选作品。

2、活动全程由昆明广播电视台摄像拍摄,跟踪报道,并剪辑制作专题片。

Letter of Fresco WorksCollection for City Characters: 2013 Kunming International OriginalFresco Prix


I. Overview

Every city has its ownspecific “taste” and characters. What are Kunming’s characters and traits? The2013 Kunming International Original Fresco Prix is themed with “CityCharacters” and centres on “Kunming”. Kunming is a famous cultural city with along history. It is endowed with abundant historical and cultural resources.The weather here is very agreeable and the landscape here is luxuriant all theyear round. Kunming is like a bright pearl on plateau which is inhabited bymultiple ethnic groups. Competitors may create works by considering thefollowing aspects: 1. The city’s natural environment and vegetation & landscape;2. It’s humanistic landscape and traditional folk customs; 3. The modern lifein the modern city; 4. Innovation in artistic originality.

II. Schedule

Time limit for collection: From October 29 to December5, 2013

Time for initial appraisal: From December 7 to 9,2012

Time forcreation in Kunming: From December 11 to 19, 2013

Time for appraisal andawards presentation: December 21, 2013 (Saturday)


III. Initial Appraisal, Works Creation, Award Ceremony and RelatedActivities

Annunciation of Works Passing InitialAppraisal

1. 40 to 60works will be chosen in initial appraisal. After initial appraisal iscompleted, the organization committee will contact authors of the chosen worksby phone to negotiate with and invite them to Kunming for works creation.

2.Competitors’ works to be painted on wall should be the chosen ones notified bythe organization committee.


3. Authors ofthe chosen works must come for works creation within the time limit stipulatedby the organization committee.


4. Site of creation: Kunming Advertising Culture Industry Park, No.18 Platform,Jinding Science and Technology Park

5. Creationmaterials and relevant layout: The painting materials needed by works paintingon wall are provided by the sponsor; the specific wall is designated by thesponsor (if you have requirements on creation environment, etc., please enclosewritten explanations and pictures, etc. with your works).

6. ClosingCeremony and Award Ceremony


(1) The execution committeeis in charge of award ceremony organization.

(2) Time: December 21, 2013 (Saturday); appraisalis to be carried out during the daytime and awards will be presented in theevening (The specific time for award ceremony should be subject to the actualarrangement).

(3) Venue: Kunming Advertising Culture Industry Park, No.18 Platform, JindingScience and Technology Park

VI. Methods and Requirements for WorksSubmittal

1. Competition eligibility: no restrictions oncompetitor’s age, nationality and occupation

2. Registration method: Fill in the attached Registration Form; send theRegistration Form and your entry (it must be hand-painted works; the title, creationideas, size of entry and size of the works to be painted on wall must beclearly noted) to the E-mail for registration: kmcb2013@163.com.

3. Registration made beyondthe time limit for collection should be deemed invalid and the works submittedshould not be appraised. The Registration Form must be fully filled in; theinformation provided must be real and valid. If such information is found to beunreal, the applicant will be disqualified.


VII. Appraisal

Chinese famous artists, plannersand designers are invited to act as judges in this prix. They will decide whichentries can pass the appraisal and be exhibited, and then decide which ones arethe winners.

Judges: Ye Yongqing, Tang Zhigang,Luo Jiang, Hu Yaxiong, Zhang Xiaoping (Black Horse), Bi Xuefeng, Chen Liu, HeLibin and Lin Shanwen


VIII. Appraising Principle:

The works fit the theme of the prix. They areoriginal, innovative, practical and developable, with fairly strong expressiveforce of vision.


IX. CopyrightNotice

In accordance with relevant laws andregulations of the People’s Republic of China, all “competitors” whovoluntarily submitted works shall be considered by the sponsor to have made thefollowing irrevocable statement on copyright ownership:

1. Statement on originality: The entry is thecompetitor’s original works which do not infringe upon any person’s patentright, copyright or other intellectual property rights.

The entry has not been published innewspaper, periodical, magazine, website or other media; neither patentapplication nor copyright registration has been made for it; it has notattended any other competitions or entered any commercial channel in any form.

The winning “competitor” guarantees thathis/her entry will never attend any other originality competitions as works ofthe same form or be transferred to any third party for re-creation, or else thesponsor will disqualify him/her for the prix, call back the prize and trophy,and reserve the right to take legal actions.

2. Ownership of intellectual property rightsof the entries: the copyrights except author’s right of paternity of allwinning works shall belong to the sponsor, namely Kunming Advertising CultureIndustry Park, which can exercise the copyrights, including but not limited tore-create, produce, sell, exhibit, publish and publicize the entries. Thesponsor shall have the right of exhibition and propaganda, etc. of all winningworks. Any other organizations or individuals (including the authors) shall nottransfer, duplicate, reproduce, transmit, abstract, edit, publish, issue orlicense the works in any form without the sponsor’s authorization.

3. The competitors have, before submitting theworks, carefully read the foregoing, and fully understood and agreed that thejury has the final right to decide all winning works.

XI. The organization committee, as the organizer of the prix, has stipulatedand will execute the present detailed rules. It has the right to amend andinterpret the rules. The rules shall be binding upon the sponsor and allartists having registered for competition who shall be deemed to have clearlyunderstood and recognized all contents of the rules.


XII. Other

1. After the prix is concluded, Collectionof Works Exhibited in 2013 KunmingInternational Original Fresco Prix will be published, which containspictures of wonderful moments during the activity as well as winning works andthe works exhibited.

2. The whole process of the prix will be shot and reported by KunmingRadio & TV Station, which will also produce a feature film about theactivity.
