2015布鲁塞尔艺博会刚开幕,这也是艺博会在城市地标原子塔(Atomium,1958年世博会场馆)附近举办的最后一届。明年的艺博会将迁往前皇家海关大楼(竣工于1906年)、如今的“旅游与出租车大楼”。新址的交通更为便利,这一点非常重要,因为如今布鲁塞尔的交通状况非常糟糕。布鲁塞尔既已成为欧洲艺术界的一大中心,艺术家与画廊聚首于此(这座城市的藏家比例占比利时全国之首——这一点当然也为艺博会提供了便利)。已经有人认为布鲁塞会取代如今柏林的地位。不过说起来容易。更有甚者认为,布鲁塞尔正在取代巴黎的地位,在查理周刊事件渐趋平息之后,巴黎又回归到委靡不振的老样子。
不过布鲁塞尔和柏林也有相似之处,它是一个工薪阶层的城市,并不富裕,同时又处在欧盟的“首都”。然而这里的食物却比柏林更美味。此外,跟柏林不同,这里还真有一些本地藏家。无论如何,布鲁塞尔艺博会本身设计优美、组织精心、对藏家和媒体爱护有加、照料周到(比如《燃点》的受邀编辑就被安排住在奢华的索菲特大酒店)。这不是随便甩甩手想推就能推掉的邀请。

艺博会的参展作品中有一大批优质、有趣、搞笑、旖旎之作,尽管它们大多都集中在主展厅(Xavier Hufkens, Almine Rech, Barbara Gladstone, Daniel Templon, 常青画廊, 柯恩画廊, Galerie Lelong等)。但新兴画廊区其实也不乏佳作。成熟创作与新兴创作都可以在这里看到。可惜的是,就《燃点》看来,这里有一类人是缺席的,那就是中国藏家。无疑这种情形将会很快得到改观。毕竟,北京人早就习惯了堵车。
