We Can’t Hear You When You Talk at the Same Time 是一个视听装置，音乐和录像用35mm电影放映机呈现，探索我们跟有线电话的复杂关系。他邀请了朋友和哥德堡的观众免费打一通电话给一个他们已经失去联络很久的亲朋好友。失去联络的爸妈，旧情人，等等。这些都录下来让当代的乐队做成音乐。有些是单纯音乐，有些能隐隐约约听到他们的对话内容，有些演绎家只配上音乐让整段话都能清清楚楚的听到。这个作品反映了波普文化的力量怎么把社会关系和价值观在当下是怎么形成的。

在哥德堡瑞典的一个大型的音乐会Way Out West也有展出，参加音乐会的乐队也把一些通话变成音乐，但在音乐会呈现的没有录像那部份，只能到一台在瑞典70年代家庭式的旅游车上听。

自由／免费照相馆 Free Fotolab 2009

科林斯选定了一些欧洲城市登广告：为顾客们提供免费冲洗胶卷和打印得服务，但是交换的条件是艺术家获得这些照片得使用权。“自由／免费照相馆”的一个板是9分钟得幻灯片，另一版本则是在本届上海双年展上展示的图片。艺术家展示的是一系列挪用的图像，包括匿名者的假期照片，私人的家庭聚会，裸体的小婴儿和醉酒的青少年。科林斯不仅在英国和瑞士，还在前南斯拉夫的城市中刊登活动广告，这些快照掩饰了当一种文化拒绝更加西化的趋势时产生的有趣痕迹：从单调乏味的时尚，家庭理发到满是俗气玩意的房间。这件作品极具娱乐性，但同时也引出了若干复杂的问题：人们为获得免费之物所愿意做出的让步艺术家挪用作品的风险，参加者们个人隐私意识的淡薄，还有当社会一旦被媒体控制和审查制度掌控时的处境。

soy mi madre 2009

Telenovela（墨西哥电视剧）是拉美最受欢迎的产品。是一个会利用市场的一个格式来制造文化差异和保存，很多时候也会变成很有力的工具来自我呈现和再度表现殖民地的遗产。在墨西哥城用16mm拍的，soy mi madre 的结构就像一集普通的Telenovela。

soy mi madre 本来的想法和出发点是什么？

科林斯：我一直都很想做一个电视剧，在墨西哥城开始跟一帮演员和制作队做一个只有半小时的影片, 把时间缩短但情节丰富。这个项目是Aspen邀请我做的，Aspen这个地方有很多拉丁移民在那边工作，他们的社会地位也是固定的。我坚决的知道我不想做一个带有讽刺的或者是仿作的话剧。事实上我想做的是一个华丽，故意做成电影效果，用16mm拍，演员穿的都是漂亮的衣服，当然也有头饰和化妆。

可以跟我们分享在制作过程中有什么重要／搞笑／动人／惊人的经过吗？

科林斯：真的拍的成？这部电影用了两天两夜来拍，用了八个礼拜写作，挑选演员，我去墨西哥城之前一个人都不认识。我找了一个助理然后我们就开始工作了。当然有很多困难但也激励我们有担子去敲门和联系不同的人。女角色由Patricia Reyes Spindola， Gina Morett, Veronica Langer 和 Zaide Silvia Guitterez还有几个在墨西哥很有名的演员。我们改变了一些固定的风格，比如说性别的价值观和阶级在电视觉怎么呈现的，也就是说演员在那个形式里面是如何容易的被替代。
