About the artist:
Xiang Yang was born and raised in China and moved to The United States in 1998. He has exhibited installations and performance art at many venues including Museum of Art and Design, New York; Scope Miami; Painted Bride Art Center, Philadelphia; Philadelphia Art Alliance; Luminary Art Center, Saint Louis; and Snyderman-Works Gallery, Philadelphia. Xiang had multiple exhibitions as a member of the experimental art collective Vox Populi, Philadelphia. His large-scale work, Harmony Tower, was commissioned for Future Pavilion, EXPO 2010, Shanghai and is currently on view. Xiang Yang lives and works in Long Island City, New York.
