《宋庄•油画》北京东区第一回油画作品展将于12月16日开幕，同时 “为画家刘铮、张慧之子义卖作品”活动也将举行。

刘铮、张慧夫妇是居住在北京的自由画家，他们的儿子张中咸今年刚刚两岁，由于身患重症，急需赴美国进行手术治疗。因手术时间紧迫，北京东区艺术中心在《宋庄•油画》展览期间由798红T艺术空间主持义卖宋庄画家提供的油画作品，并将所得捐赠用于刘铮、张慧夫妇之子张中咸的手术中。

为了一个幼小生命的健康成长，我们衷心感谢大家的爱心。在这里我们预祝这个小生命早日恢复健康。

A Songzhuang Artists’s Charity Sale event for Liu Zheng and Zhang Hui’s son at “Songzhuang • Oil Painting” exhibition

On the Opening of “Songzhuang • Oil Painting” - The first Oil Painting Exhibition at Beijing East Zone Art Centre, 798 Red T Space offer support to this charity sale event for Liu Zheng and Zhang Hui’s son in order the gather funding for his operation on 16th December 2006.

Liu Zheng and Zhang Hui both live in Beijing as independent artists. Their son Zhang Zhongxian is only two years old and has congenital heart disease. He must go to the U.S. to have an operation. The cost of this operation is 210,000 dollars. Due to the urgency of this operation, 798 Red T Space and Songzhuang artists have helped to organize a charity sale event for them. The event will be part of the “Songzhuang • Oil Painting” exhibition in Beijing East Zone Art Centre. More than 50 artists will offer to sell their works at the lowest possible prices and will turn all profits made to Liu Zheng and Zhang Hui in support of their son – Zhang Zhongyang’s high operation costs.

For the health of a child and for his future, Liu Zheng and Zhang Hui deeply appreciate your love and care. We hope this little, precious life will soon be restored to health.
